Mike Isaac was born in Carmarthen and brought up in Swansea South Wales. As a self-taught artist working in mediums of pencil, pastel and watercolour he has produced a variety of artwork such as portraits, local scenes, icons, dogs, wildlife and human form.

Therefore Mike is often busy working on commissions and welcomes any interest from you.

St Marys Church Clydach Swansea in ‘Lockdown’ 2020
In this piece I have depicted the pandemic as the dark rolling clouds behind the church attacking our way of life and our faith. Our defense was and still is the courageous work undertaken by the NHS and all our carers, represented in the piece by the rainbow and the flag. Our only other defense is our faith,resilience and bonding of our community’s to overcome such adversity.
